Camelina sativa & Honeybees

A recent NPR article reports that the Air Force and Navy are looking at biofuels to reduce dependance on petroleum products. Butterfly Weed at 7:00am on 8.9.10

At 7:00am this morning I came upon this solitary Butterfly Weed Asclepias Tuberosa next to one of our hives; it is a species of Milkweeds. In this location we have production hives on a 10 acre apple orchard. Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center Wikipedia
